HitFilm Express, A short how-to guide

HitFilm Express opens on its Home workspace, showing the latest official news and tricks on the internet. On the left, you find the list of your existing projects and add-on effect packs.

On top, you can use the new and open buttons to start from a new project or an existing one you browse. When starting a new project, you have to define the basic video properties like rendering, frame rate, resolution and aspect ratio.

Once done, you enter the edit workspace. Here you import and edit media to build your final video. You can go back to the home section by clicking on View and selecting Home.

Your imported files or media will appear in the media panel on the left. From here, you can move media to the main editor section to arrange tracks or add effects.
