PowerDirector, A short how-to guide

Once you login to your PowerDirector account, you'll enter the main interface. It has 3 Tabs named "Edit", "Produce", and "Create Disc".

The "Edit" tab is where you import, edit and create your videos. "Produce" is where you render and upload your completed videos, and the "Create Disc" tab is where you create DVD menus, chapters and subtitles.

The Edit workspace has four sections: The Navigation panel, the media window, the preview window and the timeline tracks.

To begin working on a video, you firstly need to import your media. Click on the "import media" button on the topleft corner to start importing your media files.

PowerDirector uses a bottom-up approach. So any clip on the bottom track shows above the file on the top track.
