How to create a Website on Carrd

Firstly log in to your Carrd account and go to the Dashboard. Once done, click on the “New Site” button in the top right corner.

Click on the “Box” icon to start creating a website.

The next step involves editing the default text element.

Now, open the Page settings and customize the style, position, and width.

Click on the + icon and select “Container.” Now, head over to the appearance setting and adjust the metrics.

Now, insert text to the header you just created. You can add as many containers as you want, depending on how your website looks.

Now add another container to create the navigation menu for your website. You can customize the background color, top margin, and vertical padding.

Once done, add a container below the navigation menu to create a body section and customize the metrics.

Add image and text elements to your website for a better layout. Next, add a table element to showcase the text alongside the image.

Once you’re satisfied with your website elements, click on save. That’s all it takes to create a website on Carrd. You can add more container elements depending on your website.

Our Conclusion

Creating a website from scratch is comparatively easier on Carrd, as it allows you to input all file elements. However, Carrd is unsuitable for a large-scale website as it involves several manual design steps. Carrd is ideal for illustrators and freelancers looking to create a portfolio.
